Valerie Fry Poetry

As a poet, Valerie Fry has given readings with the poetry group Sound Crew across the country. Originally a Drama and English teacher, she now combines her interest in writing with performance.  Her play, A Game of Two Halves won BBC Radio Five Live’s playwriting competition in 2006.  In 2013, and again in 2015, she was commended in the Hippocrates Poetry Prize and has been a prize winner in other national competitions.
