We'll Meet Again

Music & Poetry of the
Second World War

We’ll Meet Again is a recital of clarinet and poetry about World War Two. Sometimes accompanied by piano, it features tunes made famous at the time such as As Time Goes By, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and songs immortalised by Vera Lynn, as well as music composed by Glenn Miller, Cole Porter and Joe Garland.  With poems about The Blitz, The Battle of Britain, Normandy and other significant events, it also features poets who served in the war including Keith Douglas, Alun Lewis, John Jarmain and Spike Milligan.
